Here's how I styled my much more affordable DIY version of the fabulous embellished sandals from Rihanna's new 'so stoned' collection with Manolo Blahnik

If you haven't seen my video tutorial of these shoes (What???? Crazy) You can watch it here. I absolutely loved making these shoes and they were so much fun to make! I finally got round to hitting the sales and having lunch in the sun so I thought i'd wear them and watch them glisten in the sun. Why I keep wearing heels shopping is beyond me. I regret it every time and literally never learn!     I knew I wanted to wear something really simple with these shoes, after all - they're the star! I found this really cool deconstructed slip dress from ASOS on sale for only £12! - God I love sales - Paired them with some cute round pink tinted sunnies from ALDO et viola! A very Carrie…

If you follow me on Instagram (you should, it's fun over there) then you've seen the real time making of these Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik heels from her 'So Stoned' collection on my Instagram story and have been waiting patiently for the full video. Well, my fellow fashion lovers, Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday and Happy Hanukah. Here it is! Enjoy! *Side note* Thank you for the feedback I received from my last video. This is my second ever DIY video so i'm still learning as I go along. I have improved but there's always more room for improvement so again, would really appreciate your feedback. These DIY videos are for you so I want to make sure you are happy with them. (Aww) x     https://youtu.be/Df1U-E2GurA   Items used: Shoes…

If you read my last shoe DIY post about the No. 21 mules then you know how much i'm loving this style of shoes (if you haven't, cure the FOMO and catch up here) so much that I had to do another DIY knotted shoe, but this time I brought a glue gun and I wasn't afraid to use it. Watch the video below!   *PS: This is my first ever DIY video - I'm trying out this new format so i'd love to hear some feedback! :) https://youtu.be/OosOGKPgABk

I'd seen pictures of knotted heels & flatforms all over the street style blogs & runways and was in complete awe. They were so cool and fashion forward but also such a simple idea. I wanted a pair. Immediately. Unfortunately for me, my bank balance had other ideas so I went off on another DIY adventure.   You'll need: A pair of plain flatforms (These are from H&M) Some fabric - Heavy weight is better Scissors Measuring tape Drawing pins Needle & Thread   Measure across the straps on the flatforms and not it down then cut a strip of fabric accordingly. You'll need 2 pieces for each pair for cut 4 pieces in total.   Place the fabric strip at one end of the flatform and pin down with the drawing pin. You…

When I first saw images from Gareth Pugh's Fall 2016 Runway show I instantly fell in love with the bold coordinated looks. There's nothing I love more than coordinated matching pieces in one look.  I know it might look a little much and you have to be very careful with it so it doesn't look like you're trying too hard or looking a little clownish. But done right, it can really create an awesome fashion moment.  This wide brim halo style hat is so cool to me and I had to do a DIY version for myself and share with you guys. It's super easy (A little time consuming) but you can achieve that runway look for yourself too!  You'll need: - A wide brim hat (Obviously) - I got mine from H&M -…
